The unnecessary rebel

Its funny how we don’t comply to certain rules and regulations.

When the railway officer tells you not to cross the track and we still do. What benefit is he going to get from advising that? Nothing. In fact he’s trying to save you from unnecessary accidents.

When the traffic police tells you to wear a helmet. What benefit is it for him? Does he like it when people wear helmet? There is no ulterior motive other than to get you to protect your head.

And many such similar instances where we question authority instead of listening to them. The unnecessary rebel within us gets restless and there we are making up reasons.

“I need to save time”. “I don’t like the helmet”.

Tell that to the doctor who’ll demand a hefty sum for your operation; if you survive that is.
